A woman in the rain

The wind rises. The trees lean. It spits eventually. A woman opens her umbrella, and it is turned inside out. She keeps her balance while trying to open right the umbrella, but a car bothers her. The car-made wind rises hard, and her umbrella is completely broken. Irrespective of her situation, the dark clouds come closer. Everybody begins to run. She runs, too. Unfortunately she stumbles and falls down. The rain pours on her with no mercy.

This picturebook depicts an unlucky day. When you see the woman wearing a beautiful skirt and high-heeled shoes in the middle of the rain, it’s hilarious but you feel sorry for her because it may reflect you in one day. The woman decides to forget all her misfortunes and begins to walk slowly in the rain. The author wants to deliver a message. Even though all the stresses weigh you down, find your pace. Take a deep breath. The rain will stop.
