The result of the poor sportsmanship
You are familiar with <The Hare and The Tortoise> from Aesop’s fables. Two Korean authors met and created a story after their first race.
Mr. Rabbit offers Mr. Turtle to run a race again. Mr. Turtle rejects it, then Mr. Rabbit takes the turtle’s carapace and runs away. As you expected, Mr. Rabbit is fast and goes out of sight soon. But you wouldn’t expect the turtle’s problem. He feels cold without his carapace. Mr. Rabbit ignores Mr. Turtle’s problem and keeps running and unfortunately he falls into a pit. To make things worse, it rains.
The rabbit has the poor sportsmanship, and two authors give the rabbit the stunning destiny. You will find Mr. Rabbit and Mr. Turtle drawn in a hanging picture in the front cover, but they are missed in the back cover. You are invited to guess what happens between two covers. The metafictional factors are bothering the readers throughout the book.
