Sadness must be released

A girl lost her dad by a car accident. Her mom has to start working for living with no time to grieve. The girl comes to be alone and she does not learn how to deal with her feelings. She does not cry and her suppressed crying takes away the colors from her.

Each scene is covered with one color as her life is conquered by her emotions, until the day she pees in a bed while dreaming dad. Peeing indicates a relief. Her mom pats on her and they eventually face each other. The girl says to herself in the end: I am courageous. But we all know that it is a magic word to bring out her bravery. The book tells you that it’s very important to face and talk about your sadness.
