ELEPHANT’S TRUNK IS A HAND

Sacrifice for granted

An elephant works as a firefighter. He goes everywhere and works whenever people call him. He never complaints about his conditions: old fire truck and shabby fireproof suit. But this happens. The hose does not work in the scene of a fire. The elephant should prevent a fire spread. He has no choice but uses his trunk urgently. Since that day, his trunk is not for him.

The animals go back to normal. Nobody cares about that the elephant’s hose still does not work. Nobody sees the elephant putting out a fire with his trunk. The elephant comes to be worn out.

The author wants to remind us of whom supports our lives. The firefighter is one example. It is an indifference to make our supermen worn out, not the huge fire. This story teaches the young readers the gratitude.
